Red Rooster celebrates the very best in Cajun, Soul, Rock ‘n Roll, Roots, Blues and Country music. It is the go-to early summer event for those who wish to immerse themselves in a truly Deep South weekend experience of music, food and culture.
Headlining this year is the multi award winner for Best Contemporary Blues album, Mississippi’s Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, as well as the wild and genre bending Fantastic Negrito. Joining the incredible headliners is the 2023 Grammy Award winning Take Me to The River All-stars, a supergroup of some of the best musicians across the Mississippi Delta and New Orleans. Chuck Prophet & The Mission Express, His Lordship, Daddy Long Legs, The Nude Party, and even Glen Cambell’s youngest daughter, Top Ten UK Country Chart topping Ashley Cambell joins the lineup this year.
There’s plenty more on offer at Red Rooster too, so don your swimming trunks at Red Rooster’s ever-popular River Swimming, take a Swan Pedalo ride down the beautiful broadwater, learn how to axe and knife throw with the “Back to Wilderness” team or learn prehistoric survival skills with TV’s Will Lord.
